Beate's Weekend Challenge Attempt #2

Yes, it was bugging me to find a way to use a fabulous stamp with some fabulous pp!!!
This stamp is also from the Thomas Kinkade line at Cornish Heritage and the pp is from a brank spankin' new pack I got today, Mellow by Basic Grey. (6 X 6)
Anyway, the image in stamped in Timber Brown Stazon and then glazed with Ultra Thick Embossing Powder.
I have a good girlfriend who loves fishing and I always think of her when I see this stamp, so here is my version of a fisher-woman! :) Let's see if she can figure out who she is?!?!?

Beate's Weekend Challenge

Beate has these wonderful weekend challenges every week! I don't usually get to play with them because of things that are a must to get done, but today I did!!! It is only the second time I've been able to participate.

I really needed to use a Kinkade image and went pretty plain to showcase the stamp.

Next project: find patterned paper I like with these stamps.....

Thanks for the challenge Beate!

Sketch Inspiration

I found a sketch challenge yesterday on Two Peas In A Bucket, it was my day off work and I needed some inspiration (other than Kleenex boxes on my shelf! lol!!!)
So, I wanted to start with a Basic Grey, Scarlet's Letter, 6 X 6 paper pack. Added the flowers, as per the sketch, and just stamped the sentiment directly on the paper!
Way tooo easy! But nice for something quick!
